In the first week after the government implemented strict anti-contamination measures, the public transport company Ruter lost 73 percent of its passengers. That's almost five million.

Norwegians stopped flying south to warmer weather. The decrease in international travel is as much as 98 per cent compared to the same time last year, according to Avinor.

During Easter, people poured into the forest surrounding Oslo. At Tryvann, just over 3900 mobile phones were registered in the middle of the day on Thursday, compared to 1369 at the same time the day before.

The week the government launched its crisis measures, the government-owned alcohol retailer Vinmonopolet sold 2.1 million liters of goods. This is 30 percent more than an average week last year.

All over the country, drive-in services, concerts and cinemas have been arranged. On this Sunday evening people had gathered at a drive in cinema, under stars.
