In the weekend edition of Aftenposten our story from Donetsk was published. We've met up with Maria, a 85- year old woman living on the fourth year in a bomb shelter on the frontline, a commander that has snakes at his office and spent time at the annual 9th of May military parade in town. The story was published one week after their prime minister Aleksandr Zakharchenko was killed in an apparent assassination.

The most dangerous school in Europe

Story from the most dangerous schools in Europe. We spent time in two schools on each side of the frontline in the war in Eastern-Ukraine.The schools have covered up the windows so that the kids can study in somewhat safety, even though there is shelling nearby almost every day. The Sharia village in Bosnia

In the small village of Gornja Maoca in Bosnia, radical Islam has emerged. It was once decorated with ISIS flags and believed to be a training ground for fighters. Six of it’s 200 inhabitants traveled from there to fight in Syria. Now bosnian authorities is trying to cope with its many returning fighters in order to deradicalize them. Story for Dagbladet.
